Eat us out of house and home
eat us out of house and home
Wow, we are going through so many groceries, both my DDs eat a lot of fruit, sweet potatoes and broccoli. I try to do organic fruit mostly and try not to do canned stuff. My 3 1/2 yo also eats a lot of cheese, peanut butter, bread (I make it usually), pasta and olive oil, yogurt, eggs, I try to buy the healthier versions of all these and I shop every 2 weeks and by the second week we have really low supplies of 'kid food' and usually end up having to go back out which isn't great for my grocery budget. I am happy I have healthy kids and good eaters but what can I add to their diets that is kid friendly and healthy and will go a little farther for my grocery budget?
My older one will eat crackers and cucumber slices but not bean dip or hummus or carrot sticks (she'll only eat carrots cooked). BUT, she loves cream cheese so I think I will try your white bean and cream cheese idea. The baby likes beans but they constipate her really bad. I eat a lot of hummus though, I wish I could get them eating it.

THE TOP 10 INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
Your best weapon to mastering the job interview is to practice, practice, practice your answers to the most commonly asked questions by employers. The most certain way to sabotage your chances to win over a potential employer is to try and wing the interview. Your answers can appear aimless and without direction, making you look unprepared or worse, unqualified.
Don't risk the future of your career by flying by the seat of your pants. Prepare yourself by developing answers to the most commonly asked questions:
1. Tell Me a Little Something About Yourself.
This is probably one of the most dreaded questions of all time. We quiver and sweat in our seats wondering what the employer really wants to know. Hey, relax! For starters, this is a great opportunity for you to sell yourself to the employer. Talk about your key accomplishments and strengths and how these factors will benefit the employer in the desired position. Write down ahead of time what you plan to say; perfect it; then practice it every chance you get.
2. Why Do You Want to Leave Your Current Job?
This question is basically a wolf in sheep's clothing. It appears harmless enough, but it can damage your potential in a heartbeat if you're not careful. By all means, keep your answers to this question as positive as possible. Above all, do not dwell on how much you hate your current boss! The interviewer wants to hire a team player to the position, not a negative and vindictive hater.
3. Are You Still Employed and If Not, Why Not?
If you are, great, but if you aren't, you can still use your answer to this question to shine a light on your positive features. For example, if you were laid off or terminated, focus less on the actual termination and more on what you learned from the whole process. You'll look mature and wise in the employer's eyes!
4. Do You Have Any Budgeting Experience?
If you haven't, be honest; but you can answer in a way that shows that you have had some exposure to adhering to a budget-on a project, for example. If you do have budgeting experience, discuss your fiscal responsibility.
5. Have You Ever Managed Anyone?
This question is most important to those who are seeking a supervisory type of position. If you have managerial experience, elaborate on how many people you have supervised and what their positions were in the spectrum of the organizational chart. However, if you haven't had direct managerial practice, talk up how much you were a part of the decision process of a team project, or how you organized volunteers for a fundraiser.
Great job skills to have
6. What Are Your Strengths as an Employee?
To adequately answer this question, you need to be aware of the strengths you possess in the following areas: personality, experience, and skills. Once that information is known, match your strengths to the requirements of the position for which you are interviewing.
7. What Are Your Weaknesses?
Obviously, no one likes to admit that they have any weaknesses, especially in front of a potential employer. So what do you do? You can provide ONE trait about yourself that is the least important to the position. Refrain from canned responses such as you are a perfectionist or a workaholic.
8. Discuss How You Make Important Decisions.
If you are interviewing for a supervisory role, you definitely want to come across as someone who is able to ask for input from others, yet is comfortable making the final decisions. Also, consider the type of position and company. For example, is it a budgetary role at a financial institution? In that case, you probably will want to emphasize that you exercise great care and caution when making big decisions.
9. Where Do You Want to Be Five Years From Now?
Suffice it to say, do not answer this question with, "Retired." Keep your answers positive and simple, with just a tinge of ambition. Think along the lines of a "motivated" versus "rat race" mentality.
10. What Have Been the Biggest Accomplishments of Your Career so Far?
Focus on accomplishments that directly relate to the open position. Discuss the challenge you were presented with, your actions, and the end result. Did you streamline processes? Devise a way to increase customer satisfaction? Were you recognized by management for your efforts? The way you answer this question will distinguish you from other applicants since your answer will require you to go beyond the basic job responsibilities.

Bad Kitty Photography
A place where good kitties can be bad, and bad kitties can be themselves.
Bad Kitty Photography
Bad Kitty is an intimate photography studio for ladies of all sorts who are looking to take more than a Sears portrait. This isn't just photography for ladies who are willing to bare it all; it's for any woman of any age/shape/size/sexual orientation/comfort level who wants to feel sexy (whether that's Victoria's Secret or Penthouse). The studio is owned and operated by women - THERE ARE NO SKEEZY GUYS AROUND to leer or whatever, and they lock the door while you do your shoot, so nobody can randomly walk in on you. The studio will do your makeup and has lingerie/shoes/accessories to lend to you if you want 'em. The women who work there are really nice and very fun and want to make you feel good about yourself; they will also not freak if you want your pictures to be, well, freaky. Plus they Photoshop out zits, stretch marks, wrinkles and whatnot. Oddly, my grandma loves the shots I got there...no, I didn't get naked.
Their website has a fairly comprehensive FAQ and a big gallery of photos as examples of their sets and what they can do (no, they won't put your pic in the gallery without your permission). The website also lists occasional special deals, and you can always buy a gift certificate for a friend or significant other. They're happy to answer any questions you have or calm any worries as well (see their testimonials). The atmosphere is really relaxed and they want you to enjoy yourself. You can also ask about group discounts or gift certificates for raffles or whatnot, they're very community-minded.

Earth Day half marathon
earth day half marathon
Race organizers call this "Minnesota's Premier Half Marathon event" and the number of attendees ans spectators certainly give credence to that -- the spring 2009 running of the Earth Day Half Marathon welcomed an estimated 2,000 runners (for the half-marathon alone) and 3,500 spectators to the streets of downtown St. Cloud, for an event that serves also as the state's USATF Half Marathon Championships.
earth day half marathon
Part of a two-day festival to celebrate both Earth Day and the ninth annual running of this event, the race starts and finishes downtown just south of 10th Street, and takes runners on an out-and-back tour of the city's neighborhoods, parks and bridges crossing the stretch of the mighty Mississippi River that criscrosses through the heart of the city. In addition to the 13.1-mile half marathon for individual runners, there is also a half-marathon relay, 5K and a 1K race for kids.
By turns long, straight and flat as well as hilly, the race course features its biggest changes in elevation around the 1/4-point, halfway point and 3/4-point in the race, when runners will experience fairly significant declines followed by rapidly rising hills. The last two miles of the race, which will no doubt comfort participants, are flat.
The individual-runner half marathon is limited to 2,000 participants, while the 5K and 1K youth run are limited to 900 and 400 participants, respectively. The half marathon and relay will start on Saturday morning at 8:30 AM, while the 5K and 1K will take place the previous Friday evening.
Race Weather & Climate
Set about 60 miles northwest of the Twin Cities metropolitan area, the city of St. Cloud straddles the great Mississippi River and enjoys much the same weather as its much larger neighboring city to the south -- cold winters, mild summers and cool springtime weather. Help Me Help Me I Can't Breathe
H.M.H.M.I.C.B. started in a basement in Y2K under the name (Suffocated) with Kisston on Vocals, Brxan on Guitar and Vocals, and Greg A on Drums and bass. We got as far as a few recordings on tape in Greg's parents basement where the original and very rare collection called "The Mistake" came to life. After a brief hiatus and the shuffling of musicians and a name change in 2003 we picked up Scott and recorded with our friends at Pirate Studios in Lake County and released "Lets not and say we did" in the fall of 2003 and later in the winter a 3 song self released "Cheapie E.P." and then we picked up Phil just after the release of our recordings. We performed over 80 minutes on WEFT in Champaign, IL on the C-U-In Hell radioshow on campus. Self released a shorter version of the radioshow at our shows in 04. Recorded an exclusive track through Pirate Studios in 2004 on "Pirate Audio Vol. 1" and released a track on a comp for On The Rag Records "Put some pussy in your punk!!! or else.... Vol.2" The band ended in 2005 and surfaced in 2006 for one last show. Were currently jamming and looking to play out again for shits and giggles. Hope to see you join us.
Who can impeach the president?
who can impeach the president
Impeachment became a household word in America during the process in the late 1990's which may have removed President Clinton from office. Ultimately impeachment was not taken to its final conclusion with regards to President Clinton - but the mere initiation of the process was enough to cause President Clinton huge international embarrassment. It is also an aspect of horizontal federalism that the "world's most powerful man" can be brought before Congress to account for his actions and to be punished by Congress.
What is impeachment?
It is the process of removing senior public servants from office, and takes the form of a trial.
Who can impeach the president?
The 435 members of the lower house of Congress, the House of Representatives, can decide whether he/she can be charged with impeachable offences, and the 100 members of the upper house, the Senate, must decide whether he/she is guilty. His/her sentence would be removal from office.
who can impeach the president
What is an impeachable offence?
The US Constitution states that a president, vice-president, senior civil servants and judges can be removed if found guilty of "treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanours" which are not defined.
President Clinton's alleged crime - lying on oath - was investigated by what was known as the Starr Commission. Once Starr had done his work, he presented his report to Congress.
The report was studied by 2 lawyers working for the House judiciary committee - one represented the Democrats and the other represented the Republicans. There were 36 people on this committee; 21 Republicans and 15 Democrats. The committee met and decided whether to vote for "articles of impeachment". The whole House then had to decide whether to agree with the articles. A simple majority in the House transfered the whole process to the Senate where a senior judge presided over the hearing and all 100 Senators acted as jurors. A two-third majority in the Senate would have secured the conviction of President Clinton. This did not happen.
who can impeach the president
Has a president ever been impeached before?
No. Andrew Johnson faced impeachment proceedings in 1868 but was cleared by the Senate. Richard Nixon resigned in 1974 before full proceedings began. In Clinton's case, the Senate voted not to proceed with impeachment - in many senses, the damage to the integrity of the president had already been done and his removal may simply have left America in a political vacuum especially as the whole process could have taken some months from start to finish.

Abstract
This is a description and explanation of a random sentence generator which can be used in the study of foreign languages. The paper explains in detail how to use the Hypercard stack Random Sentences. A listing of the stack's script is also included. This random sentence generator differs from others in that the user is allowed to input sentence patterns as regular English and does not need to use "grammar" language or code words.Introduction
This paper describes and explains the random sentence generator, Random Sentences, which I wrote using Hypercard on a Macintosh computer. This random sentence generator differs from others in that the user is allowed to input sentence patterns as regular English and does not need to use "grammar" language or code words. Since the input of data is simple, it is a useful tool for second language learners. A teacher can customize this stack to fit the needs of his students or the student himself can experiment with his own sets of sentence patterns and substitution phrases. The user may alter the data without any knowledge of Hypertalk.Random Sentence Production
When you start this Hypercard stack, it will open up to the title card which includes the title, copyright notice and information about the stack. Click on the Start button and you will be brought to the Sentence Production card (Fig. 1). Click the Produce a Sentence button. On the screen you will first see the sentence pattern which was randomly chosen from the Sentence Pattern card (Fig. 2). Next, you will see the words or phrases to be replaced (wildcards) followed by the words or phrases (substitutions) randomly chosen from their respective cards (Fig. 3) which will replace the wildcards Finally, the finished sentence will be displayed on the screen. If you have chosen the Macintalk option and if you have Macintalk in your system folder, you will hear the sentence spoken by Macintosh's speech synthesizer.Customizing the Stack
Here is a step by step explanation of how to customize this stack for your own students.1. Make a copy of the original stack. Go to the title card of the new stack and click the Make a Blank Stack button.2. Next, go to the sentence card (Fig. 2) and input some sentences which your students should know.
use a word in a sentence generator
I am John.3. Next, enter the wildcards and the substitutions. Notice that in the above sentences we have three sentences with the word "John". So we may consider "John" to be a wildcard. Go to the substitution card (Fig. 3) and enter "John" in the Wildcard field. In the Substitution field of the same card, enter names of people (George, Jane, Mr. Jones, etc.) and singular phrases for people (a man, an American, a young girl, etc.).Repeat the process with the following information. To make new data cards, choose New Card from the Edit menu.
Are you John?
This is a pen.
These are pens.
John has a pen.
John can swim.
etc.
Wildcard: a pen4. Now go to the Sentence Production card (Fig. 1) and try it out.
Substitutions: an apple
etc.
Wildcard: pens
Substitutions: books
my magazines
etc.
Wildcard: swim
play baseball
etc.
Wildcard: can
Substitutions: must
should
use a word in a sentence generator
Substitution Within Substitutions
It is possible to have the computer substitute into the substitutions already made. For example, if "a pen" is substituted by "a blue book" and if you have a card like the one below, the word "blue" will be substituted by one of the other colors. For this to work, the card "blue" must be after the card "a pen".Wildcard: blue
Substitutions: yellow
red
etc.
More Ideas for Customizing
The most obvious customization is to use sentence patterns and vocabulary that the student already knows. The stack can be expanded by adding new sentence patterns and new phrases as the student learns them. Other possibilities are to limit the patterns while introducing new vocabulary or to limit the vocabulary while introducing new sentence patterns. It is possible to customize stacks using many different teaching approaches (grammar, functional, situational etc.). If the teacher is developing a lesson on survival English for travel, all phrases could be limited to those that might be used when traveling or those that include useful vocabulary for the traveler. For teachers developing a lesson on the use of modals, all sentence patterns should include a modal wildcard (e.g. must) and a card should be included in the stack which has all the modals being studied (e.g. can, should, etc.).Is it necessary to remove wisdom teeth
is it necessary to remove wisdom teeth
In a groundbreaking report from the British Medical Journal, researchers who poured over thousands of studies detailing the efficacy of medical and dental procedures have concluded that many popular surgical procedures are completely worthless. Among those is one of the most common procedures performed by your dentist: the removal of so-called "impacted" wisdom teeth. According to the BMJ, this procedure may actually do more harm than good.
I don't trust dentists. I've long suspected dentists of scaring patients into undergoing unnecessary procedures in order to generate more business. My suspicions were confirmed when I visited a dentist in 2001 for a basic checkup. After taking dental x-rays (another health hazard, as new research is showing), my dentist fed me a scare story about how I still had all my wisdom teeth, and that all those teeth needed to be surgically removed. I was absolutely stunned. My wisdom teeth were working just fine: no cavities, no pain, no problems. I had made an appointment for a routine checkup, not to undergo expensive surgery for my wisdom teeth. But my dentist insisted, relying on a variety of scare tactics to try to convince me to undergo this expensive -- and completely unnecessary -- procedure. His behavior was highly unethical. He was using his authority and position as "the dentist" to try to scare me into accepting a surgical procedure that I quite obviously didn't need. In fact, even he couldn't give me a good reason for justifying the surgery other than to say, "We usually remove the wisdom teeth quite early." Which means, of course, that they just order the surgery for every child or teenager who walks into the clinic, regardless of whether they actually need it.
is it necessary to remove wisdom teeth
Now, it turns out, the removal of wisdom teeth has been found to be an utterly worthless procedure to begin with. It "may do more harm than good" says the British Medical Journal, after reviewing literally thousands of case studies. So the typical dentist is really just hyping a useless procedure, and if your dentist is anything like the dentist I encountered, they're also using all sorts of highly unethical scare tactics to try to force people into undergoing the procedure. That's downright evil, and yet it's a common practice among dentists in the United States.
Folks, you need to start questioning your dentist. Don't believe everything they tell you. Most of the time, they're full of bunk, or they're just trying to sell you on whatever procedure they get paid for performing. They're not all evil -- many actually believe these procedures will help you, which is why they seem so sincere -- but they are misinformed. Their beliefs are based on medical dogma, not scientific fact. Their beliefs in these procedures are nothing more than a sort of medical pathology, where certain things are just considered "true" and never questioned even though the original basis for accepting them as truth has been proven entirely false.
In the vast majority of cases, you will be healthier and wiser by ignoring the advice of your doctor or dentist and seeking out a naturopathic doctor or other healer. In fact, it's very important to avoid allowing a doctor or dentist to even hit you with a scare story or other manipulation tactic, because most people will just go right along with their advice even when it makes no sense. People don't question medical authorities as much as they should. And dentists know it. They know that most patients will just go ahead and agree to practically anything they recommend. That makes a situation where fraud and exploitation of patients is frighteningly easy to accomplish. Any dentist that wants to generate more revenues for their office can simply start recommending an expensive surgical procedure as "standard practice" and claim, "we always take those teeth out." It might be complete hogwash, but most people -- absurdly -- will buy into it. Don't let that person be you. Keep your dentist honest. Better yet, seek out a "natural" dentist who won't use mercury fillings or highly toxic fluoride, and who will turn to surgery as a last resort rather than a "standard procedure." Don't be tricked into unnecessary (and medically dangerous) surgical procedures that can only cause you harm.
is it necessary to remove wisdom teeth
With this attitude, I'm happy to say that I now have eight more teeth than most other people -- those are eight wisdom teeth that many dentists try to remove from the mouths of everyone else. Yes, I feel wiser for keeping them. And no, they don't cause me any problems at all. Go figure.
By the way, I found another dentist who agreed to remove my mercury fillings, but only after calling me a fool for my "outrageous" belief that mercury was somehow dangerous. (Are these dentists for real?) That's what it takes to be a modern dentist: you have to be a complete idiot who has no concept of neurotoxicity, no ethics, and no hesitation twisting the arms of patients into undergoing dangerous procedures. I know this doesn't characterize all dentists, but it sure does describe the vast majority of them.
How a cat is declawed?
how a cat is declawed
If you are considering declawing your cat, please read this. It will only take a moment, and it will give you valuable information to help you in your decision.
First, you should know that declawing is pretty much an American thing, it's something people do for their own convenience without realizing what actually happens to their beloved cat. In England declawing is termed "inhumane" and "unnecessary mutilation." I agree. In many European countries it is illegal. I applaud their attitude.
Before you make the decision to declaw your cat, there are some important facts you should know. Declawing is not like a manicure. It is serious surgery. Your cat's claw is not a toenail. It is actually closely adhered to the bone. So closely adhered that to remove the claw, the last bone of your the cat's claw has to be removed. Declawing is actually an amputation of the last joint of your cat's "toes". When you envision that, it becomes clear why declawing is not a humane act. It is a painful surgery, with a painful recovery period. And remember that during the time of recuperation from the surgery your cat would still have to use its feet to walk, jump, and scratch in its litter box regardless of the pain it is experiencing. Wheelchairs and bedpans are not an option for a cat.
No cat lover would doubt that cats--whose senses are much keener than ours--suffer pain. They may, however, hide it better. Not only are they proud, they instinctively know that they are at risk when in a weakened position, and by nature will attempt to hide it. But make no mistake. This is not a surgery to be taken lightly.
how a cat is declawed
Your cat's body is perfectly designed to give it the grace, agility and beauty that is unique to felines. Its claws are an important part of this design. Amputating the important part of their anatomy that contains the claws drastically alters the conformation of their feet. The cat is also deprived of its primary means of defense, leaving it prey to predators if it ever escapes to the outdoors.
I have also had people tell me that their cat's personality changed after being declawed. Although, the medical community does not recognize this as potential side effect.
Okay, so now you realize that declawing is too drastic a solution, but you're still concerned about keeping your household furnishings intact. Is there an acceptable solution? Happily, the answer is yes. A big, joyful, humane YES! Actually there are several. The following website "Cat Scratching Solutions" provides many solutions as well as and insight into the psychology of why cats scratch. You can teach your cat to use a scratching post (sisal posts are by far the best). You can trim the front claws. You can also employ aversion methods. One of the best solutions I've found is Soft Paws®.
Soft Paws are lightweight vinyl nail caps that you glue on the cat's front claws. They're great for households with small children and are extremely useful for people who are away from home all day and can't exercise the watchfulness necessary to train a cat to use a scratching post. Soft Paws® are easy to apply and last about four to six weeks. They come in clear or colors--which are really fun. Now that's a kitty manicure! The colored caps look spiffy on Tabby or Tom and have the added advantage of being more visible when one finally comes off. Then you simply replace it. You can find Soft Paws® on the web by clicking here or call 1-800-989-2542.
You need to remember, though, that the caps and nail trimming should only be used on indoor cats who will not be vunerable to the dangers of the outdoors.

Measuring Primary Productivity
How can primary productivity be measured in an aquatic ecosystem? To answer this question, you must first recall the equation for photosynthesis. Type the equation here.
Note: Because this lab focuses on dissolved O2, we don't include CO2 in our discussions. However, don't forget that CO2 plays a major role in both photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
Primary productivity can be measured in three ways:
In this laboratory, we will use the third method, the rate of oxygen production. Do you understand why this measurement will reveal primary productivity? If you aren't sure, look again at the definition of primary productivity and the equation for photosynthesis.

Primary productivity can be measured in three ways:

Would you like to swing on a star?
WOULD YOU LIKE TO SWING ON A STAR ?
(Music : Jimmy Van Heusen / Words : Johnny Burke)
Bing Crosby
Would you like to swing on a star?
Carry moonbeams home in a jar?
And be better off than you are?
Or would you rather be a mule?
A mule is an animal with long funny ears
Kicks up at anything he hears
His back is brawny but his brain is weak
He's just plain stupid with a stubborn streak
And by the way, if you hate to go to school
You may grow up to be a mule
Would you like to swing on a star?
Carry moonbeams home in a jar?
And be better off than you are?
Or would you rather be a pig?
A pig is an animal with dirt on his face
His shoes are a terrible disgrace
He has no manners when he eats his food
He's fat and lazy and extremely rude
But if you don't care a feather or a fig
You may grow up to be a pig
Would you like to swing on a star?
Carry moonbeams home in a jar?
And be better off than you are?
Or would you rather be a fish?
A fish won't do anything, but swim in a brook
He can't write his name or read a book
To fool the people is his only thought
And though he's slippery, he still gets caught
But then if that sort of life is what you wish
You may grow up to be a fish
A new kind of jumped-up slippery fish
And all the monkeys aren't in the zoo
Every day you meet quite a few
So you see it's all up to you
You can be better than you are
You could be swingin' on a star
Is there any way to get rid of stretch marks
is there any way to get rid of stretch marks
Since the diet craze of the 80s and 90s started (and it’s still going strong) people seem to be obsessed with getting rid of stretch marks. Mothers who have just given birth are slimming down and noticing the results of being bloated like a hot air balloon. People like that guy from those Subway commercials are seeing the same thing, parallel lines that form on the stomach, the butt, the thighs, arms, and breasts—the symptoms of stretch marks caused by stretching the skin too far, or stretching the skin just fast enough that the body couldn't keep up, and now it’s trying to grow back to normal.
But the lines are faded and damn do those stretch marks stand out! Even I’m going to get stretch marks some day, especially after all this bulking up in the weight room. Come summer, when I start cutting on my diet, I’m sure to see some stretch marks here and there. Though it may not be possible to get rid of stretch marks fast or absolutely, there are definitely some treatments and procedures to help you look the way you did before you turned into a parade float.
For women who are just recently pregnant, or men who are bulk weight training, moisturizers may help prevent stretch marks. Though nothing is scientifically proven, anecdotal evidence supports the idea that using moisturizers fortified with vitamin A and vitamin E may help prevent stretch marks. Vitamin A and E are, after all, essential components in the epidermal (skin) maintenance system. Helping your body regulate and in some cases speed up the growth of new skin cells may help reduce the appearance and number of stretch marks when overall body volume is finally lost.is there any way to get rid of stretch marks
Watching your weight and massaging your skin on a regular basis will help prevent and improve the appearance of stretch marks. It should be obvious to most of us that watching what one eats should be a priority in such a health conscious society as we live in. Regulating your weight and overall body volume will ensure you don’t get stretch marks. Massaging the skin improves capillary circulation, and promotes new tissue growth. So, pass on that cheesecake and tell your husband that full-body massage he promised you is long overdue.
Alpha Hydroxy Acid is probably the most popular treatment to get rid of stretch marks on the market today. AHAs are found in just about every major brand of skin cream and stretch mark treatment in the cosmetics section of your local department store. These acids, derived generally from sugar cane or dairy products, are potent exfoliating compounds. When AHAs are applied to the skin, they break down the proteins that hold dead skin cells together, essentially dissolving the dead skin, allowing newer, younger skin to take its place—skin with a pigment closer to your natural tone.
Retinoids are the second most popular treatment recommended to help get rid of stretch marks. Retinoids, like AHAs, are most effective in a cream or moisturizer rather than in a face wash, because retinoids need to be properly absorbed by the skin. Soaps only wash them away, reducing their effectiveness. Retinoids are a class of chemicals that help regulate the skin cell growth nearer the surface of the epidermis. Accelerating this growth with regular retinoid treatments will help get rid of stretch marks faster.is there any way to get rid of stretch marks
Salicylic acid is a rare but equally effective way to get rid of stretch marks. Like the two suggestions above, acids of any sort are useful in helping to exfoliate the skin because they break apart the proteins (lipids) that hold skin cells, particularly dead skin cells, together. Salicylic acids are most often found in treatments for acne, but there are some skin creams on the market that use very mild concentrations to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks, pimples, and blemishes.
But the lines are faded and damn do those stretch marks stand out! Even I’m going to get stretch marks some day, especially after all this bulking up in the weight room. Come summer, when I start cutting on my diet, I’m sure to see some stretch marks here and there. Stretch Marks Treatment & Creams
Stretch Marks Surgery
There are several surgical procedures available to dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons that will get rid of stretch marks. The first and increasingly more popular choice is laser assisted scar removal. Since stretch marks are, technically, a sort of scar tissue, laser surgery can removal the top layers of skin to allow newer skin to take its place. Microdermabrasion and dermabrasion work in very much the same manner as the laser option, but they use a fine blade (like an electric razor) to scrape away the upper layers of skin, promoting new skin cell growth. Both measures are extreme, but there is one technique that is gaining more popularity with both traditional medicine and alternative medicine professionals; it’s called Non-Ablative Skin Rejuvenation and it uses low levels of light energy to “wake up” the skin cells and cause them to repair themselves and function more like the young skin cells they once were. It’s an interesting technology, and worth researching if you’re serious about getting rid of stretch marks.

If It Means A Lot To You lyrics
And hey darling
I hope you're good tonight
And I know you don't feel right when I'm leaving
Yeah I want it but no I don't need it
Tell me something sweet to get me by
'Cause I can't come back home till they're singing
La, la la la la la la
'Til everyone is singing
If you can wait till I get home
Then I swear to you
That we can make this last

If you can wait till I get home
Then I swear come tomorrow
This will all be in our past
Well it might be for the best
And hey sweetie
Well I need you here tonight
And I know that you don't want to be leaving me
Yeah you want it but I can't help it
I just feel complete when you're by my side
But I know you can't come home 'til they're singing

The Ticket to Work Program provides most people receiving Social Security benefits (beneficiaries) more choices for receiving employment services. Under this program, the Social Security Administration (SSA) issues tickets to eligible beneficiaries who, in turn, may choose to assign those tickets to an Employment Network (EN) of their choice to obtain employment services, vocational rehabilitation services, or other support services necessary to achieve a vocational (work) goal. The EN, if they accept the ticket, will coordinate and provide appropriate services to help the beneficiary find and maintain employment.

Can humans get worms from cats
can humans get worms from cats
We love our cats as members of our family but despite our best efforts, they can sometimes become ill such as through worm infestations. Worse yet, if you are not careful, you too can become ill from different types of intestinal parasites found in cats. Knowing how to protect yourself is as important as finding the right way to care for your cat. As with any infestation, seek advice from a veterinarian if you suspect your cat has any kind of worms and speak to a doctor immediately if you suspect you have been infected as well.
- Roundworms are the most common kind of intestinal parasite cats can have; often they are transmitted from mother to kitten through the mother's milk. Roundworms can be found in the fecal matter of infested cats as white-ish, semi-transparent worms, but are not always detectable visually. These worms can easily be transmitted to humans who contact infected fecal matter with their hands and then inadequately wash (or do not wash at all) their hands, followed by touching eyes, nose or mouth.
Hookworms
can humans get worms from cats
- Hookworms are not common in cats, but can be transmitted from cat to human through fecal matter. Cats can acquire hookworms during a jaunt outdoors where it came into contact with wet sand or soil carrying the infecting worms. Humans also can be infected this way, as well as from their cats.
Tapeworms
- There are a couple of ways your cat can get tapeworms; through grooming, which causes the ingestion of infected fleas, or through eating infected rodents. Fortunately, tapeworms are highly specialized and adapted to a cat's environment and cat-to-human infection is rare, though still possible. If you spy small "grains of rice" in the cat's feces, in its fur or in its bedding, these are most likely the dried, egg-carrying segments of a tapeworm and you should wash your hands thoroughly after handling any such infected material.
Whipworms
can humans get worms from cats
- Whipworms can infect cats on rare occasions and on even rarer occasions, those whipworms can infect the humans who care for the cat. As with the other worms, whipworms are transmitted through handling of infected fecal matter and inadequate washing of the hands. There are some types of whipworms that can infect human beings, but they are a different breed than the ones that infect cats.
Treatment
- All worms can be treated, both in your cat and in yourself. Roundworms are common enough that an over-the-counter de-wormer usually works. With other worms, and with a worm infestation of your own, a medical professional as well as a specific anti-parasitic is required. Be sure to follow the dosing and finish the full prescription, even if you and/or your cat feel or seem fine. Failure to do so may result in the worms becoming drug resistant, another trip to the vet's or doctor's, and possibly more expensive medication.

Run or save when downloading
Run or save when downloading
When you are downloading a file off the internet you may get the option to "Run" or "Save". Either of these options will lead you to the setup for the program and install it on your computer, but the difference lies in where the setup file opens from.

Run or save when downloading
If you click "Save" you can specify where the setup file goes (Downloads or the desktop). From there you could put it on a disk just in case you need to reinstall it or want to put it on another computer.
By choosing "Run" the setup process starts once the setup file is downloaded to your temporary internet file. When you empty your temp file the setup download goes away. This is great if you aren't a download packrat, but you should be clearing out your temp files often or they can get clogged with downloads.
Me? I usually download to my Desktop then delete after install or save to a Downloads folder or send to a disk.
P.S. If you have Win XP or newer and the file is zipped (.zip extension) you will get the option to "Save" or "Open" the folder.

To be or not to be that is the question
To be or not to be that is the question
To be or not to be that is the question
Meaning
Is it better to live or to die?
Origin
To be or not to be is probably the best-known line from all drama or literature. Certainly, if anyone is asked to quote a line of Shakespeare this is the one that first comes to mind for most people. It is, of course, from Shakespeare's play Hamlet, 1602 (Shakespeare's actual title is - The tragedie of Hamlet, prince of Denmarke):
To be or not to be that is the question
HAMLET:
To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscover'd country from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action.--Soft you now!
The fair Ophelia! Nymph, in thy orisons
Be all my sins remember'd.
To be or not to be that is the question
What Hamlet is musing on is the comparison between the pain of life, which he sees as inevitable (the sea of troubles - the slings and arrows - the heart-ache - the thousand natural shocks) and the fear of the uncertainty of death and of possible damnation of suicide.
Hamlet's dilemma is that although he is dissatisfied with life and lists its many torments, he is unsure what death may bring (the dread of something after death). He can't be sure what death has in store; it may be sleep but in perchance to dream he is speculating that it is perhaps an experience worse than life. Death is called the undiscover'd country from which no traveller returns. In saying that Hamlet is acknowledging that, not only does each living person discover death for themselves, as no one can return from it to describe it, but also that suicide os a one-way ticket. If you get the judgment call wrong, there's no way back.
The whole speech is tinged with the Christian prohibition of suicide, although it isn't mentioned explicitly. The dread of something after death would have been well understood by a Tudor audience to mean the fires of Hell.
The speech is a subtle and profound examining of what is more crudely expressed in the phrase out of the frying pan into the fire. - in essence 'life is bad, but death might be worse'.
